Get Pregnant Naturally
Hi everyone!
Hope I find you in good health today. I came across this article on holistic medicine to treat infertility on ehow.com and I’m copying it here so that you can benefit too from these techniques.
After reading this article if you feel the need for further information regarding holistic medicine I strongly suggest you read <> Lisa Olsen’s book <> and/or visit the link below to go to the ehow.com page. And I’m always here to listen and tell J
Holistic medicine aims to treat not just your body, but also your mind and soul. It takes into consideration not just a condition, but your daily environment and surroundings, as well. Holistic infertility treatments are largely noninvasive. Treatments focus on diet, exercise, lifestyle, physical therapy and counseling. It's believed these techniques can help infertility, which is defined as not being able to conceive after a year of unprotected sex as well as having a sperm count totaling under 5 million. Follow these steps to learn how holistic medicine can treat infertility.
Address Your Lifestyle
Step # 1. Relax. Stress hinders fertility. Keep a journal where you record all your stressful thoughts. Try to let them go after you write them down. Talk about any worries you have, either with your partner or a friend or family member.
Step # 2. Use acupuncture to help balance your body's energy and find harmony within your reproductive and other internal organs. Find a local practitioner using Acufinder.com.
Step # 3. Use some form of exercise to relieve stress. A good choice is a low-impact exercise like yoga or tai chi, which can help relax your mind as well as your body. Learn more about tai chi from MayoClinic.com.
Step # 4. Believe in the power of positive thinking. Instead of dwelling on the roadblocks, make plans to combat them.
Treat Infertility in Men
Step # 1. Avoid eating processed foods and foods with fatty animal products.
Step # 2. Eliminate foods that contain estrogen. Hormone-fed cows tend to produce dairy products containing this hormone.
Step # 3. Eat a diet high in fiber with fresh vegetables and legumes, like beans and peas.
Step # 4. Take dietary supplements. Vitamins C and E, zinc, selenium, carnitine and beta carotene have all been linked to increased fertility.
Step # 5. Wear loose fitting underwear made from breathable fabric, like cotton. Stay away from synthetic materials.
Step # 6. Avoid hot tubs or whirlpool baths at high temperatures.
Step # 7. Eliminate cigarette smoke and contact with heavy metals like mercury or lead.
Treat Infertility in Women
Step # 1. Check your weight. Weighing too much or too little can have an effect on fertility.
Step # 2. Avoid alcohol and caffeinated drinks.
Step # 3. Incorporate folic acid and vitamins B12 and B6 into your diet. Use supplements if you can't get the recommended daily amounts from the food you eat.
Step # 4. Avoid contact with metals such as mercury and lead, which affect sex hormones

The Infertility Flu
It is common knowledge that both genders suffer from and contribute to the infertility of a couple. This infertility is caused by a host of different reasons. All the mainstream treatments for infertility are medicine based.
These range from hormonal injections to in vitro and many other rather controversial forms of medical treatments. My infertility was/ is because of my “advanced” age. I was 34 when I started TTC and I was finally pregnant at 37! The ideal age for getting pregnant remains between 18 to 24! How people are supposed to provide for the kids they have when they are kids themselves is something that our reproductive organs still need to comprehend.
If you have read my earlier blog entries you will know that it was a holistic natural approach that helped me get pregnant in the end. If you want to have a look at the kind of program I followed to get pregnant in just three months after years of trying through medical procedure you should definitely visit <>Pregnancy the Natural Way<>.
I realize that everyone’s bodies are different and I know several women who have had success with medical procedures but studies suggest that 92 % of all infertile couples that try the several medical modes for conception, fail.
A natural more holistic approach is inexpensive and even if you do not get the same results that are promised to everyone else through Lisa Olsen’s program it still is great for the health of both you I’m suggesting to my friends here in cyber space and in life is to give it a try along with your expensive medical treatment.
Alternative methods with a more holistic and natural approach are gaining popularity in many circles because of the results they achieve. And because of the no side effects for the mother and the baby these holistic approaches to medicine are safer and preferred by infertile couples.
Getting pregnant and having a child is a miracle for anyone and I hope and wish everyone here will atleast read <> Lisa Olsen’s book <>.
Best of luck on your journey! Do share your stories of success and struggles.
Much love,
Sana.
Pregnancy Stats for different Age Groups
We have all experienced either ourselves or through someone we know the effects of age on fertility. Age effects fertility in both men and women and there are some encouraging signs that the age for healthy pregnancies is going up.
I’m no expert on the subject but the rise in the age bracket for healthy pregnancies suggests that evolution is finally catching up with the demands and needs of the day. Though mothers still do not seem to be getting more then two hands anytime soon (j/k).
During pregnancy there are certain limitations that older women and men have to face due to their age and because of this rise in old-“er” aged pregnancies physicians have to adapt to the needs of the older gravida patients.[1]
Here are some stats from the National Center for Health Statistics in the US:
It is also mentioned in these reports that the average age of Pregnancy or a healthy pregnancy has been increasing since 1972 to 24.3 years today.
There are several other benefits in my eyes to a later pregnancy that most of us are leaning towards anyways like being financially able to provide the child more stability.
Also young mothers are not mature enough to follow all the necessary instruction during pregnancy and after the child birth unlike women who are either more mature or have had to wait and try a long time to get the child they so wanted.
There are however several downsides as we all know to having babies at a later age most of which in my non- expert opinion are a result of the modern medicine’s way of treating the symptoms rather then the causes.
92% of all women who try to eliminate their infertility through medical ways fail. I know I was one of them but I was lucky enough to have found <>Pregnancy the Natural Way<> and that it worked for me. Lisa Olsen the creator of the program claims this works for almost everywoman, but I know is that it worked for me.
It’s a natural way to try and conceive so it’s not a bad idea to give it a try if you are having trouble conceiving through the modern medicine route.
I hope all of you who are TTC are happily pregnant soon! And all those who are pregnant today share their stories and how they fought off infertility.
Cheers,
Sana.

My Story
Hi everyone,
I want to share my story with all of you in cyber space going through perhaps the same problems I have faced. *What can I say I love to write*
My rather humble life story has a problem, a star and a happily ever after!
The Problem
Like most of us today I was a driven career gal, running after everything fun, friends and work but without realizing I was missing out on the golden years to start my own family. I have a great job, friends that will see me through any crisis and a husband who loves and respects me for who I am.
Even with all this I was lacking something essential in my life, children of my own. After several years of trying I had given up, I was sure that I was not meant to have children.
The Star
I will not say the star of my story came to me out of nowhere, I guess even when I had given up on having children of my own, fate had not given up on me. I have 3 happily married sisters and though two of them are younger then me they all have healthy beautiful kids.
I love all my nephew and nieces to bits and I spend as much time with them as I can spare. My kid sister had a baby daughter early last year and I was enlisted to baby-sit while she recuperated. This little girl is the most precious thing in the whole world I fell in love.
There was however another side to the story every time I got home from my sister’s I would lock myself in my bathroom, taking a pretend bath when I actually balled my eyes out. I just felt so helpless and useless. I would not wish those devastating feelings on the worst people.
Looking through the Internet one night after failing to fall asleep I found my star, I was desperate to try anything and the claims made through this site were pretty amazing.
I’ll have to tell you guys here that I’m not someone who had a very holistic lifestyle prior to my finds through this site. I was actually pretty skeptical of anything intangible I was a firm believer in medical science and its healing powers. This was all however ready to change.
Getting back to the site [<> Click here to jump to the site<>] a woman named Lisa Olsen claimed to have had the same problems with conception that I was facing and after reading through the several testimonials I decided to buy the book.
My theory at the time was, it would not hurt to try plus it was a rather inexpensive book compared to the wealth of knowledge and all the money and time wasted on medical expenses that never paid off. I’m known to be a bit clinical with my purse then most I weighed out my options quickly.
It was an easy decision in the end and one that was possibly the most fruitful decision I ever made. I read the book and used the theories along with the diet that was suggested. I started feeling changes in my body and my health in general and I was happy with the results even though I had not yet conceived.
It was a good month after the 2 month claim that the book makes that I get a confirmation from my GP that I was indeed pregnant! I was wild with joy! I was 38 and was carrying my first child, it sounds weird but I had never felt that beautiful in all my life as I did then.
My Happily Ever After
I have a 6 month old son, he is sleep in his crib across the room from me. I do not mind saying he is a bit of a devil like his father but I feel like the luckiest woman in the world because he is mine!
I’m writing this blog to help direct other women like me to this holistic and natural way to of conception and I hope you get a visit from the stork soon.
The book is available through <>Click here to jump to the site<> and there is a lot of info on my blogs too and if you navigate to the contact me page from the menu you can send me any private messages.
Wishing you the best of luck on your journey to happiness.
Cheers,
Sana.
